The Axe
So, the plan of Teya Ryan, GPB’s new executive director, to ensure that Georgia Public Broadcasting manages to do nothing other than air Barney reruns continued today with the cancellation of the Apprentice Program, and while I’ll still probably stay on as a freelancer (which is what I am anyways), who knows for certain what will happen? I feel particularly bad for Jonathan, Matt and Brian, the legit employees of the Apprentice Program who actually made stuff happen. How they expect freelancers to get anything done without the people who schedule studio stuff or run post-production or figure out the technical issues is beyond me but it’s just more of the same old bullshit I suppose I should come to expect from the Georgia government.
So if ANY of you know of any media companies that are hiring, or if you need any video work done, call me up.
